The ten year anniversary of a Tornado in the midst of a pandemic and Elmwood still celebrates!

This year's Elmwood Strawberry Festival is not what we are accustomed to, no gathering in the park, no crafts, no car show; but what it is, is a celebration of our local businesses that have been heavily effected by the covid-19 pandemic. Take a moment to pause in our downtown this weekend, look back over the past 10 years and think on how far our community has come after the destruction that visited on a Strawberry Festival Saturday in 2010. The destruction is long gone, replaced by new hope in a beautiful and quaint setting that is our home, our community. Join us by visiting our local businesses, excited to serve you after being completely closed or partially closed for over 10 weeks. Elmwood is strong and Elmwood is committed to community, Elmwood Loves Local. Let's celebrate with what we know and love, strawberry treats! #elmwoodloveslocal Here are some delicious places to visit this weekend:

If you want to take a look at what our community looked like after the tornado of 2010 went through, please pick up this week's addition of The Weekly Post.
